The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday officially announced the NEET UG 2025 results, with Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan securing the All India Rank 1 with a percentile of 99.9999547. The announcement came shortly after the release of the final answer key, which featured only a single revision—marking both options 1 and 2 correct for a question in booklet 45.
Over 20.8 lakh candidates appeared for this year’s examination, reaffirming NEET’s status as the largest single-day competitive test in the country.
However, the declaration of results was accompanied by mounting concerns over exam integrity, with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) intensifying its probe into alleged malpractices.

The LOC, announced through the CBI’s official handle on X (formerly Twitter), is aimed at preventing potential suspects from fleeing the country as investigations into alleged paper leaks and unfair means continue.
