G-20 ambassadors perform yoga in Andaman

Port Blair: The Head of Mission and representatives of international organisations performed yoga at the Kala Patthar beach at Swaraj Island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. During this, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi and India’s G-20 chairmanship chief coordinator Harsh Vardhan Shringla were also present.

Chief Coordinator of the G-20 Presidency Harsh Vardhan Shringla, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasised on adopting a natural lifestyle for environmental balance. To make this concept a reality, he did yoga on the Kala Patthar beach at sunrise. All the G-20 ambassadors who arrived from Delhi participated in it. After that we all cleaned the beach.

Argentine ambassador Hugo Javier Gobbi, who performed yoga at Kala Patthar beach, said it was a truly spiritual and refreshing experience. It is really inspiring to be here in such a beautiful environment. On India’s G-20 chairmanship, he said the agenda is very rich and good for the development of relations and cooperation in the world.

Kala Patthar beach in Havelock Island is one of the smallest beaches in the country. It is famous for its aqua green water view. Kala Patthar Beach is in the village of Kala Pathar. The natural scenery here fascinates the people.
