New Delhi: Amid escalating tensions with Pakistan, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held a high-level meeting today with the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and the heads of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. The meeting, which lasted for nearly two hours, focused on reviewing the current security situation along the border and assessing the nation’s preparedness.

During the meeting, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi provided a detailed briefing to the Defence Minister on the current situation along the border areas with Pakistan. Air Chief Marshal A.P. According to reports, Pakistan attempted to target several key Indian military installations in the northern and western regions on Thursday night using drones and missiles. These attacks were allegedly in retaliation to India’s recent military operation, codenamed Operation Sindoor, which reportedly caused considerable agitation in the Pakistani military establishment.
